Issue 3 - Inc. Magazine x Illustrators Elbow
We are very excited to begin work on Issue 3, which is going to be a collaborative effort with the wonderful artists of Illustrators Elbow!
Not only will the poetry be illustrated by some of the collective, but we hope to have poems written that have been inspired by some original artwork as well!
If you are a poet/songwriter/wordsmith, please get in touch with any submissions - this is going to be the best issue yet!
ALSO
Please get yourself down to WORD IS BORN on Sunday 6th February, where you can get your grubby mitts on a copy of Inc. Magazine issue 2!
Check out the facebook event for WORD IS BORN HERE.
Bring a friend have a beer, chill out to some smooth jazz, funky hip hop and poetry!

issue 2...
inc. magazine is currently taking submissions for Issue 2, which will be released in January. The issue will be extra special, as it will be a collaboration between Word Is Born and a charity night in aid of Haiti. The issue will feature a combination of poetry from both groups as well as illustrations and some bitesize interviews!
If you write poems/songs/lyrics/rhymes, with an emphasis on rhythm and wordplay, and would like to contribute, please attach work as a word document and email it to the address at the bottom of this page.
We are also particularly on the look out for any illustrators or graphic designers who would like to help put more images into future issues of the magazine. If you are such a person please get in touch with a few samples of your work attached either as a jpeg or pdf also to the email address at the bottom of this page.
We are also always looking for people who would like to advertise in future issues of inc. magazine. The magazine has a guaranteed readership of approx. 50 people who attend each Word Is Born event as well as a growing foundation of stockists across Hackney. Adverts for independent shops, cafes or venues would be appropriate.
For any contributions please email Will at w.coldwell@gmail.com
For advertisers and stockists please email Anya at pearson.anya@gmail.com
DEADLINE FOR ISSUE 2 SUBMISSIONS - NOVEMBER 15TH
(later submissions will be kept for future issues)
