Poetry from the tropics....

Notes from abroad.

1.

Here in my net,
I feel safest of all,
I can sleep with no clothes,
As there's no mosquitoes,
In nets. .

2.

Hey! Cockroach that I see,
Please do not encroach on me.
Your beady eyes and stick thin legs,
Must not trespass on my bed.
You scuttle up and all around,
And scuttle on my eiderdown,
And whilst I lie in moonlit trance,
Upon my nose, you'll do a dance.
